Two of our group had their birthday on the same day so we had 2 cakes, one carrot and the other ginger. It's become a tradition for the birthday person to be DJ for the day by creating playlists and finding the music on the computer. So this was shared - 5 songs each, repeated throughout the day. One had made a jumper into 2 hats for them both and a skirt that he wore - 'birthday pixies'. It was a very jolly day enjoyed by all.

Roaming IndependentlyHappily, we've been able to meet a few times in September -- outdoors. Even when we couldn't meet, though, Roamers stayed in touch by way of our post card project (details here) -- we've posted most the them here. There are also paintings and drawings and photographs from Toby, Suzi, Jon and Not Just Any Girl. Look under the "Film" tab above for three new videos!

Mission StatementRoaming's official goal is "to carry on creative activities that benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) people who find themselves in some way disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable." Our values are really our common ground: confidentiality, integrity, fairness, respect for the values and culture of others, the withholding of judgement, inclusivity, flexibility, and equity in relationships.
