Open Day! (12 February 2015 at Roaming)

Open Day began at exactly the stroke of 10 am.  It was a familiar pattern of events in some ways.  But with regular Roamers meeting many visitors, there was a different kind of energy about the day.  Visitors were interested in the group from a variety of different perspectives -- some former Roamers, some partners and friends.  A features reporter from BBC Cornwall brought her microphone, and conducted brief interviews (the result was broadcast two days later, on Saturday), as well as recording a rap performance.  Our lunch was bread and soup made in the Breadline kitchen, as usual, and it was delicious as usual.  A special event for the visitors a feltmaking workshop, and many joined in, getting a taste of the fun and satisfaction of making that lies at the heart of Roaming.
