Janet McEwan joined us again to make a film with Stephen about his painting process and the way it relates to his interest in music. During the day he played his saxophone for us and also completed a painting he's been working on for a whole year. We celebrated the inclusion of 2 of our group's contributions to the latest St.Petroc's Annual Report and ate a deliciously colourful lunch that Lucy made for us. We also decided on titles of our work, which will be in the exhibition due to open at Truro Cathedral on October 11th organised by St.Petroc's and Jayne Howard.
We've been posting what Roamers have shared with us during these weeks we can't meet. The blog on the left currently features our post card project (details in earlier post). There are also paintings and drawings and adventures to share from Toby, Suzi, Jon and Not Just Any Girl. Look under the "Film" tab above for three new videos!

Roaming's official goal is "to carry on creative activities that benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) people who find themselves in some way disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable." Our values are really our common ground: confidentiality, integrity, fairness, respect for the values and culture of others, the withholding of judgement, inclusivity, flexibility, and equity in relationships. "
We are grateful to the newly-renamed National Lottery Community Fund for their recognition, generosity and encouragement. For information about the funding Roaming received before 2019, please see Support for Roaming.
