We are very happy to be able to return to Breadline albeit in reduced numbers and with Covid safety measures in place. We are meeting over 2 floors so as to socially distance and wearing masks to move about the building. It was so lovely to see people returning to paintings they had started back in March.
We had another meeting in the bandstand today - we were celebrating 2 birthdays with 2 different cakes! We all socially distanced apart from those who were in a legitimate social bubble. Some of us made drawings and others continued to write for our ongoing story making project.
Now that lockdown is at last gradually lifting, we're looking back on the past year with a sense of achievement and a committment to a future together. Even when we couldn't meet, Roamers stayed in touch by way of our post card project (details here) -- we've posted most the them here. We shared paintings and drawings and photographs from Toby, Suzi, Jon and Not Just Any Girl. Keep an eye out for a new video soon with more details.

Roaming's official goal is "to carry on creative activities that benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) people who find themselves in some way disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable." Our values are really our common ground: confidentiality, integrity, fairness, respect for the values and culture of others, the withholding of judgement, inclusivity, flexibility, and equity in relationships.
