![]() We've had a steady summer in which we have continued to meet every week to make art, cook, eat and talk about all kinds of things. Some of us have been off on adventures and returned with stories to recount. Others have had family reunions and one even had a new family member. One or two Roamers have returned to visit and some others have popped in and out. There have been a number of new people who have joined us whilst they've been looking for accommodation and then found it in another town. Summer seems to be a gentle time for us when Cornwall becomes highly populated with visitors we are happy to have a place to escape to away from the crowds. |
Roaming IndependentlyHappily, we've been able to meet a few times in September -- outdoors. Even when we couldn't meet, though, Roamers stayed in touch by way of our post card project (details here) -- we've posted most the them here. There are also paintings and drawings and photographs from Toby, Suzi, Jon and Not Just Any Girl. Look under the "Film" tab above for three new videos!

Mission StatementRoaming's official goal is "to carry on creative activities that benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) people who find themselves in some way disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable." Our values are really our common ground: confidentiality, integrity, fairness, respect for the values and culture of others, the withholding of judgement, inclusivity, flexibility, and equity in relationships.
