Our first day back after a long summer break and nine Roamers roamed in. We were all really pleased to be together again and shared stories and drawings from our time apart. Toby brought along part of his blue-footed booby (yes there is such a thing!) costume to show us. He'd made it to go to a friend's fancy dress party. Olive particularly liked it!
Owl completed his painting of vegetarian dinosaurs. We are planning a trip to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens in the near future as we have been generously granted twelve group visits by the owners. We will be painting and drawing the gardens through the seasons.

Roaming IndependentlyHappily, we've been able to meet a few times in September -- outdoors. Even when we couldn't meet, though, Roamers stayed in touch by way of our post card project (details here) -- we've posted most the them here. There are also paintings and drawings and photographs from Toby, Suzi, Jon and Not Just Any Girl. Look under the "Film" tab above for three new videos!

Mission StatementRoaming's official goal is "to carry on creative activities that benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) people who find themselves in some way disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable." Our values are really our common ground: confidentiality, integrity, fairness, respect for the values and culture of others, the withholding of judgement, inclusivity, flexibility, and equity in relationships.
